Bring your well-loved clothes to Olympia Lamplighters for a Clothing Care and Repair Clinic on second Saturdays between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM. Some supplies will be provided; feel free to bring your own. Learn how to fix and take care of your clothes. Tired of how something looks? Learn simple alterations. Most assistance will focus on mending and hand sewing. However, anyone who brings their own sewing machine may get a  walkthrough and some assistance in using it.

Suggested supplies:

• Needles
• Sewing thread. (It’s suggested to use like thread with like clothes. Cotton with cotton, poly with poly.)
• Embroidery thread
• Fabric scraps for patching.
• Measuring tape
• Buttons
